What is the difference between a coach and a therapist?
A coach focuses on the present and helps you meet goals, a Therapist focuses on your past to help heal trauma or give you a diagnoses on what could be going on with you.
Is it better to see a therapist or a Coach?
It all depends what your looking for and whats best for you, if you are looking to set goals and establish clear plans to reach those objectives then a coach would be great for you. Therapy would be good for someone who is looking to talk about their past and heal from any traumas for example childhood trauma would be a good reason to seek therapy.
Are sessions done in person, Virtually(Telehealth) or by phone?
Currently at this time all sessions are done by phone, I will see clients virtually by video if requested. I do not offer office visits at this time.
How long have you been in practice?
I started my practice in 2023, I have been in the healthcare field for over Nine years working in pain management (3 years) and mental health (6 years) with patients.
Do you offer a sliding scale fee?
I will work with clients who may need financial assistance, I do require some form of payment at the time of each visit. Feel free to send me a message in regard to payments.
How long will my contract be?
the first contract will start at 3 months, we can extend the contract further as we continue to work together or if more assistance is needed.
What coaching services do you offer?
I offer mental health services for clients dealing with relatioship issues, anger, interpersonal problems, stress, life transitions,anxiety, perfectionisim, indecisivness and burnout.
Do you offer free consultations?
I do offer a 20 minute free consultation for all new clients.
What will a typical Coaching session be like?
I will work with each client to meet their goals, Each session is different depending on the needs of the client and what we will be talking about. I want to establish trust and build a relationship with each client, the goal is for each client to feel comfortable and most importantly heard, the end goal is to make sure that the client is living up to their potential and putting in the work to meet the goals that we have set in each session.
What if Coaching does not help me and there’s more to resolve?
I will do my best to help each client and make sure that their needs are being met, if we get to a point where we have met our contract and more needs to be done we can always continue with more sessions or if the problem is greater and therapy is needed we can also look into referring you out for more assistance, I am here to support all my clients and help as much as I can.
What is included in the coaching packages?
All sessions will include a one on one phone coaching session, I will send out Intake forms, questionares to be completed along with homework assignemts, I will communicate with emails between coaching sessions to check in and sometimes make calls to check in as well.
How do I pay and schedule my sessions?
Once we have our first consultion and we have decide to work together, you will receive a contract, invoice and a link through Calendly book to schedule your first session.
What ages do you currently see?
At this time, I am only seeing patients 18-65, this may change in the future.
